Before you order
Choosing your canvas
Is this a painting or a print?
An art print on canvas. Your artwork is printed onto canvas after you order, at the size you choose, then stretched over a solid wooden frame, and floater-framed if you chose a frame. Nothing is hand-painted, signed or numbered, and we never describe it that way.
How do I choose the right size?
Measure the furniture the canvas will hang above, across its back, and choose a canvas about two-thirds to four-fifths of that width. Every product page draws each available size to scale against real furniture, and the size guide walks through it.
Will it look exactly like the photograph?
Very close. Colours can vary slightly between screens and the printed canvas, and a small screen-to-print colour difference is not treated as a defect. Room images show the artwork at the scale of the size you select.
Can I have a size that is not listed?
WhatsApp us with your wall size and we will tell you what is possible before you pay anything.
Canvas & frames
What arrives on your wall
What is it printed on?
A fine-grain, semi-matte canvas: no glare from a window, a tubelight or a ceiling fixture, and no glass.
What is the difference between wrapped and floater-framed?
Wrapped canvas has no outer frame: the image carries round the 25 mm edge of the stretcher. A floater frame holds the canvas from behind inside a frame, leaving an open 6 to 8 mm gap all the way round, so the canvas appears to float. See finishes.
Which frame finishes are there?
Four floater finishes: Matt Black, Natural, Antique Gold and Walnut. They are the same size and depth; only the colour changes.
What is the stretcher made of?
Solid pine, 25 mm, with real grain and knots on the back. The canvas is stretched by hand and stapled under tension down the back of each bar.
Does it arrive ready to hang?
Yes. It comes with the hanger already fitted: out of the box and onto the wall, with no assembly.
How high should I hang it?
So the centre of the canvas sits 57 to 60 in from the floor on a bare wall, or 6 to 10 in above the furniture below it.
